About This Calculator:

In 2006 Massachusetts passed an innovative, market based solution to the health crisis facing America. The policy, which has been implemented, aims to make health coverage affordable to all Massachusetts residents.

This calculator uses eligibility criteria from the Massachusetts health system to show Alaskans how health care reform could work in the state. By answering the questions to the left, you can see if you'd qualify for assistance in covering the cost of health coverage. If you currently purchase a plan, you can see how much of your premium covers the cost of uncompensated care in Alaska.

Any questions about this calculator can be sent to Senator French's office.
